LONG-LASTING
Dental Implants

At some point in life, we may lose a tooth due to decay or damage. Luckily, dental implants are permanent solutions for missing teeth. The posts act as tooth roots and they’re capped with a custom-made crown that fits in perfectly with the surrounding teeth. When cared for properly, implants can last you the rest of your life. Just brush and floss as normal and make sure you see the dentist every 6 months.

Remember, it’s imperative that you replace missing teeth as soon as possible. When the jawbone doesn’t have a tooth root to support it, it tends to deteriorate. And if you lose too much of the bone, it becomes more difficult to replace, which means you may no longer be a candidate for dental implants. If you’re missing a tooth, come to Forever Smiles today!

LIFE-CHANGING
Full & Partial Dentures

If you’re missing one, several, or most of your teeth, Forever Smiles has options for you. Partial dentures can be designed to replace one or more adjacent teeth, while full dentures can replace an entire arch.
With modern technology, a lifelike and durable prosthetic is easy to customize and manufacture, giving you your smile back. Ask Dr. Nguyen for more information on the type of denture that would work best for you.

FAST AND PAIN-FREE
Root Canals

Root canal therapy is actually a relieving treatment. It removes infections that have spread deep into the sensitive roots, thereby eliminating the pain associated with them. And if you’re at all concerned about pain, Dr. Nguyen offers sedation options to keep you comfortable.

At your appointment, your doctor will clear out any infected pulp from the root to stop the infection from spreading. The canals are then filled with a rubber-like material called gutta-percha. From there, you will have your remaining cavity filled, and possibly have the tooth capped with a custom crown.

EFFECTIVE
Periodontal Care

Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is an infection of the gums caused by a build-up of bacteria, plaque, and tartar. Left untreated, it could threaten not only the integrity of your teeth but also expose your body to other serious problems, like heart disease or an increased risk of stroke.

There are three stages of periodontal disease: Gum Disease, Periodontal Disease, and Periodontitis. In the beginning, you may experience symptoms such as red, inflamed, and itchy gums. They may bleed when you brush or floss, and you’ll feel a general discomfort. If left untreated, your gums may begin to recess and your jawbone may start to deteriorate. In the most serious cases, your teeth will loosen and eventually fall out.

The best way to avoid all stages of Periodontal Disease is to keep up with your 6-month cleanings at Forever Smiles. Dr. Nguyen is gentle and understanding, making every visit a pleasure. But if you are experience symptoms of periodontal disease, please call to make an appointment immediately. If caught and treated early, gum disease can be reversed. Let us help you keep your smile!
